The XRP Ledger (XRPL) is seeing renewed network activity, with recent data and market reporting placing its daily transaction count at approximately 2.4 million. The increase highlights continued activity across the blockchain even as XRP's market price has faced pressure in 2026.

The reported growth represents an important development for the XRPL ecosystem. Recent figures indicate that daily transactions increased by roughly 21% over the measured period, suggesting that activity on the network has continued to expand despite challenging market conditions for the XRP token.

Recent September data also shows that XRPL activity has remained above the 2 million transactions-per-day level. On September 3, reported activity reached approximately 2.57 million transactions, demonstrating that the network can sustain elevated transaction volumes even amid uncertainty across the broader cryptocurrency market.

The increase in transactions is also occurring alongside greater activity across other parts of the XRPL ecosystem. Recent reporting has highlighted growth in stablecoin activity, decentralized-exchange usage and tokenized-asset infrastructure, with RLUSD becoming an increasingly important part of activity on the ledger.

One of the most notable aspects of the trend is the contrast between network activity and XRP's price performance. While XRP has experienced significant declines during 2026, the underlying ledger has continued processing millions of transactions each day. This divergence has renewed discussions about whether growing blockchain usage could eventually translate into greater demand for XRP.

However, transaction growth should not automatically be interpreted as a direct signal for XRP's price. Transactions can represent many different types of activity, and network usage alone does not guarantee increased token demand or future price appreciation. Investors are therefore watching transaction volumes alongside XRP liquidity, ETF flows, stablecoin growth, decentralized finance and broader market conditions.

With XRPL continuing to process millions of transactions daily, network activity is becoming an increasingly important metric to monitor. If elevated usage continues alongside the expansion of RLUSD, tokenization and institutional applications, the XRP Ledger could strengthen its position as a blockchain infrastructure platform. For the XRP market, the key question will be whether this growing ecosystem activity ultimately translates into sustained demand for XRP.
